I'm sure I've done this before but I can't remember how.

I have a list with times by 15 minute intervals, I want to populate
this with call volumes from another list, however it does not return
the intervals with nil value. So for example, I have not return for
01:00.

Why can't I get my Vlookup to work?

The minimal info provided in your question isn't going to allow any
meaningful response. Perhaps a better description of your data and a sample
VLOOKUP that isn't working...

With the limited information it is difficult. However, if you have done it
before you can watch the VLOOKUP clip on
http://www.auditexcel.co.za/lookupandreference.html to remind yourself of
what VLOOKUP can (and cannot) do.
