Everytime I type in my date ie. aug3 it will then come in a format as
08/01/2003 or if I type in Jul22 it will show as 07/01/2022. No matter what format I select for the cell it takes the number that I type as the year. I have tried detect and repair and have uninstalled and reinstalled office. I have it running on XP and prior to this week this function was not an issue. |

However, if you type in 3Aug or 22Jul Excel will interpret it as a day-month and default to the current year. --ron |
