Default calculating dates

Hi All!

I need a formula to count back 300 days from a given date. Does anybody
have a suggestion as to how to accomplish this?

The below formula assumes that the date you want to count back from is in
cell A1.

=A1 - 300

Ensure that whatever cell you put this formula into is formatted with a date
format.
If 5/15/2005 is in cell A1 the above formula should equal 7/19/2004.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
