Default multiplycation of money cell and time cell

How to multiply a cell that has a dollar value to a cell that consists of a
time difference. Example: cell A1 is $5.00, cell B1 is 10:00 AM and cell B2
is 10:00 PM and cell B3 is 12:00 which is the difference of cell B2 and B1.
Now the problem is the multiplying cell A1 to B3. The value does not match
for some reason. I don't know how to make it work. If anyone does, please
help. Thank you. Anderson
