I am having a problem with the SUM function. My spreadsheet looks like this:
total 7/10 7/11 7/12 7/13 7/14 7/15 7/16 sum(B2:B8) 6 7 4 7 2 3 The sum in the weekly total, sums up the values in the next 7 cells. The values in the 7 cells are pulled from daily workbooks. The problem is that when I copy the formula for week 1 into week 2 it doesn't work right. What happens is that when I update say the 3rd day in week 2, the sum does not update. I do have automatic calculation on, and even did a manual calc, but neither worked. What I do to get day 3, is that I copy the formula from day 2, and do a search and replace on the date in the formula. This makes it pull from the right date, for the right column. The sum for the row just doesn't re-calculate. What can I do to solve this? |
