Default Copying worksheets

While copying worksheets, I notice that cells containing more than 256
characters are truncated. I am not sure why this restriction and it is
probably not required.

Is there an option in Excel that gets away with this restriction or raise
the allowable size of the cell contents?

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Sridhar

The only way is to select all cells with
Ctrl A (twice in Excel 2003)
Copy
Insert a new worksheet and paste

Hi Ron

Ok. Actually I was doing some processing with macros when I thought this
option would come in handy. Looks like I need to also code copying all
contents from original and paste on the new sheet.

Still, I dont see why this restriction cannot be relaxed. Anyways, thanks
for the suggestion.
