![]() What error are you getting with Pivot Tables? Make sure there are no blank cells in your "dates" columns, then you should be able to group dates by weeks, months, or years. Is your "date" recognized as a date or is it "text"? -- Ron H ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ron H's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=9749 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=391624 |

Pivot table just gives me a total of the tickets, not a total of the
net weights. it tells me hl3n31 31 tickets, but not the total of 34,567 kgs. On Sun, 31 Jul 2005 12:22:07 -0500, Ron H wrote: What error are you getting with Pivot Tables? If you drag Net to the data area as well, double click on the filed name and
choose Sum, then you will have weight as well as count of tickets. -- Regards Roger Govier "Wally" wrote in message ... sorry, I must be doing something wrong.
I get plant id, then product...but for net I get every weight for every product... I just need the total for each product. I double clicked on both product and net to pick SUM, by it didn't change it. Also once I have the year to date total I still need to pull up monthly totals, can i do that with a pivot table?
