Default HOW DO I COUNT CELLS OF A CERTAIN COLOR ONLY?

Having trouble counting cells in an excel spreadsheet that have a certain
color only. Can anyone help?

Hi Martin
Basically it can't be done by Excel in its normal configuration.
However, have a look at the site below for adding ColourIndex to Excel,
which will then allow you to count cells and other interesting stuff.

How were the cells colored?

If by using Conditional Formatting, count on those conditions.

If manually colored, you will need a User Defined Function.
