Default Time Elapse Formula

In military time, how can I take the time a patient entered a clinic, say at
22:20 and find out the time elapsed until they received their antibiotics at
04:00? Thank you!

Hi Lisa,

Certainly looks like a question that was just asked and in this newsgroup.

See if this helps:
see http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie /excel/datetime.htm#timediff

If not go through the whole thread:
http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?th...0microsoft.com

If you do you might note that J.E. McGimpsey offered a choice of two
formulas that provide the same result.
