Default tab name

Hi,

RE Excel 2002 (version 10) sp3

is it possible to have a cell value displayed on the sheet tab or have
the sheet tab displayed in a cell?

Thanks

The first one you will need a macro, a line of code something like this

activesheet.name =[a1]

for the second one this formula should work, the file must be saved first

=MID(CELL("filename",A1),FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1))+1,255)
