Default Start spreadsheet with WinXP start

Yo,

How do you get a specific spreadsheet to start up when Winxp starts.
I have tried to place a link of the spreadsheet into the startup folder, but Excel only starts up without the actual spreadsheet opening.

Thanks for help.

Good morning Gordon Gradwell

You need to get rid of the file you copied to your startup folder, then
set up a shortcut to the required file on your desktop. Then move this
to your startup folder. Then on opening Excel will open, and then your
file will open within Excel.
