Default Data Validation

Hello,

I am using Excel 2003 with Windows XP.

I have a cell on a worksheet that has a data validation list with the
numbers 3-10.
The numbers are stored directly in the cell.

Underneath this cell I have a table which is, to start with, 3 columns
wide by X rows tall.

How can I adapt this sheet, so that if a user selects, say 5 from the
validation drop down cell, the table underneath automatically expands
to 5 columns.

If the number 3 is chosen, the table reduces to 3 columns.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Ket, how do you define a "table"?

Just a named range, are there culumns made invisible?

If it is just a name you could use a dynamic named range, if columns
need to disappear your prob need VBA.
