Default How can I link cell colours from worksheet to worksheet/workbook?

I am using muliple worksheets / workbooks to manage vacation schedules for
the summer with vacation days colour coded. I have linked the cells from one
sheet / book to another but the colour (formating) doesn't transfer as a
value would.

Any ideas?

One method is to, in some way, use Conditional Formatting to color the cells
on the original sheet.

Then CopyPaste SpecialPaste Links and Paste SpecialFormats.
