Default hilght cells at a give day

I would like to know if there is a way to have cells flash or hilight on a
day or time I set for them ? ie. when a date for renewal comes due the date
cell flashes or hilights to a differant color say 2 days before ?
hope some on can help.

Take a look at conditional formatting in XL Help.

For instance, if A1 has your date, select A1 and use:

CF1: =(A1-TODAY) <= 2
Format1: Pattern/<color

Don't flash. Just don't. It's annoying.
