You need to clean up the formatting. Excel accepts around 4000 combinations
of cell formatting.

NOrmally, what people do and shouldn't is to select a whole column and
format it. This, for very large jobs like yours, can generate this kind of
problem.

You can got to Edit -- Clear -- Formats to clear formatting from empty
areas and see how it goes.
