Default Excel function countif???


I have a range of results entered in a range named "Question1" i want to
count how many on each row of this 4 column range have true and
depending how many out of the 4 on each row have true add 1 to an
appropriate section of a table

Any ideas on hwo to do this, would i have to use a countif function??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

sorry, i can't seem to figure out how i can do what i want to do from
that page, maybe i wasnt very clear - sorry

I have four columns in my range and thereofre 4 possible true values.

For each row that has 0 trues in it, i want it to add one to a
table/cell , for each row that has 1 true in it i want it to add one to
a value in the table/cell and so on.

So basically i want it to count how many rows have 0 trues, how many
have 1 true, how many have 2 trues etc. and put this data into a table

and of course help in Exel

You are more likely to get a specific formula if you take the
time to show a sample of your data (with addresses). But I think, you have sufficient
information to solve your problem. Kind of looks like the general
kind of question one might copy down for a homework assignment.
It is kind of hard to do homework or to ask someone for help unless
you clearly understand the question (definition of problem) and can
clearly ask for help. With a good definition, it is amazing how quickly
one can usually answer their own question, expecially with the help
of Google web search or a Google groups search.
