Is there a way to use cells B2,B3 and the sum of C1 and C2 as the values for
the XIRR function? Excel 2000

The inputs for XIRR are

XIRR("values","dates","guess")

Values are a range
Dates are a range (same number of cells as values)
Guess is a single value

So the answer is no. You would then have two values and only one date (or
two dates and only one value) and either way that wouldn't work.

What exactly are you trying to do. Possible someone can help you find a
suitable formula.
