Default How do I lock footers in Excel?

I am using excel spreadsheets as templates for others to use. I can set them
up so that they can only modify certain cells throught the spreadsheet. How
can I keep them from changing the header or footer?

I don't think you can.

About the only thing you can do is to put them back the way you want them right
before you print/printpreview.

You could record a macro that sets them the way you want, then put that code
into the ThisWorkbook module under the workbook_beforeprint routine.

If you have trouble modifying your recorded macro, post back.
