Default Pivot Table - Preserve Formatting

Similar to other users I have been experiencing problems with preserving the
formatting on refresh in a pivot table. The "preserve formatting" option is
selected and so too is the "enable selection". All fields are preserved with
exception to one particular troublesome field. Does anyone have any further
suggestions to resolve this issue?

Kind Regards.

If the formatting suggestions from other posts haven't worked, you could
record a macro as you refresh the pivot table, and reformat the field.
Then, run that macro as required.
