Default hypothesis testing

The question is: using a 0.10 level of significance, is there evidence that
the population mean is above $300

values given: sample of 25 students, X(bar) = 330.4 and s= $45.20.

What formula do I use to respond to this question?

Default hypothesis testing

Jaybird -

One approach is to use the TDIST worksheet function to get the prob-value
and then compare the prob-value to 0.10.

Another approach is to ask your instructor or teaching assistant.
