Default Division of all cells by a common number

Hi,
I have the following data:

Series A
124
34
946
576

I would like to divide each cell in the above column by 25, and have the
number returned in the same cell without doing so indvidually. How do I
manage that?

Hi,

Put the number 25 in a cell and copy it. Select the range of numbers and then

Edit|Paste special - select 'divide'
OK

When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that
introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the
question.

Input 25 into a blank cell somewhere, then copy cell. Select your data,
right-click. Paste special, divide.

Icegirl
Place 25 in some out-of-the-way cell. Copy that cell. Select ALL the cells
you want to divide. Do pastespecial-divide. Hit OK. Done. HTH Otto
