One guess as to the root Q here. Use named ranges as DV sources for better
flexibility. Then you can set the DV up easily to work across sheets as well.

Location of the dropdown or location of the list range for the dropdown?

Cut and paste should get you the first.

In DVListSource dialog you should be able to change the list range.
