Default MS Word equation

The Equation Editor works in most Office apps
Right click the box and use Open
Now you can edit,
Word of warning: some people find that when Excel closes the equation it is
a bit distorted - aspect ratio gets changed. So they copy the formula back
to Word, edit it, and then take the new eqn back to Excel
best wishes
