Default Clear excess formats in Excel 2007

My old version of Excel (97) had a option (clear excess formats in
"bookname") on the "File" menu that would reduce the size of a worksheet by
removing all the excess rows & columns. I can't seem to find how to do this
in Excel Enterprise 2007.
Can anyone help?

Home tab click on the eraser icon and choose one of the options.

I believe you are referring to an add-in that Microsoft provided.
