Default Database refresh date

The excel workbook connects to an access database and runs a select query to extract the data.

the data is displayed on the excel sheet as a table and from the table I create a pivot table.

I have now changed the properties so that each time the excel file opens the data is refreshed.

I will include you suggestion, however there is a odbconnection.refresh date function. have come across this or used this?

hi
how are you getting the data from access??
assuming you are using code, just add this line at the end

Range("E1").Value = Now

change the range to one outside the data table.
