I am working in windows2007 version. I have in One workbook contains three tabs
I have 1st Tab ? COURSE has a labels A1 ? Name of programs, B1 ? Date1 (29-06-09), c1 ? Date2(30-06-09), In A2, I have name of programs - MEN Part 1 two cells i.e. B2 & C2 - Name of faculty is mentioned.
In 2nd tab ? FACULTY have LAbel A - Name of trainers, label B ? Date1 (29-06-09), Label c ? Date2 (30-06-09), In A2 cell trainer Mr. ABC & he is busy for 2 days program i.e. starting from B2 to C2 so those two dates cells & have name of the program i.e. ?MEN part-1? written in it.
On 3rd tab ? ROOMS details has Label A1 ? Room No., Label B1 ? No of participants, Label C1 ? Lab setup, further from Label D1 onwards date1 (29-06-09), Date2(30-06-09). A2 has Room No. 3 has lab set up for MEN equipment hence that two cells ? D2 (29-06-09) to E2 (30-06-09) & have name of the program i.e. ?MEN part-1? written in it.
I am trying to generate summary statement wherein from all these three TABs. I want to write name of program and start date & end date using Index & match function. From room no tab I want room no allotted for that program for that particular period from Rooms tab & name of faculty from Faculty tab. How do I use INDEX & MATCH function to make a summary statement from all the three tabs?
