Default DROP DOWN MENU "source"

Hello please can anybody help me with this. please i'm trying to create drop
down menu list using Validation from DATA MENU and select list in the dialog
box.After the dialog box pop up. under source.. i want all my list to be
showing but it can only take few..

Now i have thousands of list items that i want to be showing on drop down
menu list but the source can only take few of them How can i increase the
list in the dialog box so it can take all my list menu OR what can i do?.

when past all the list under SOURCE in DATA VALIDATION dialog box then
nothing is showing but if i paste few the is going to show. meaning that is
maximum it can take but i need all the list on my drop down menu so i want to
all to be showing there. please can anybody help me with this. thanks and God
