Default How do I make a sound as a result of an "if" statement in excel

I wish to alert a data inputer if the answer of a calculation falls outside a
certain range, eg300 <20. The data inputer does not touch type. I hore that
I could use an "if" statemnt to achieve the required result.

A formula can't create a sound. You could use programming to create a
sound if the cell value is outside a specified range when the sheet
calculates.

Or, you could use conditional formatting to colour the cell if its value
is outside the specified range. There are instructions in Excel's Help,
