2002 Hyperlink issues
I'm prototyping some basic functions before building a large workbook and
populating it with hard data. I have 2002 on this machine which is ok because my employer only has 2003 on the servers, and that's where the workbook will be deployed. I need the user to be able to jump to a cell, either on the current worksheet, or another worksheet in the same workbook. Sounds easy. I've used the "Insert Hyperlink" command, and I've also used the "Hyperlink" function, manually typed. I believe I have the syntax correct because the Hyperlink is created in the originating cell (with the correct text displayed). When I click on the hyperlink, I get the message "Excel cannot open the specified file". Obviously the file is already open? I've been down the road of setting 'File-Properties' and setting the default path. What am I doing wrong? |
