a way to limit the characters allowed in a cell?
is there currently a way in excel to limit the amount of characters
that can be typed into a cell? if not, is there a word count function? thanks. |
Try DataValidation
You can limit the characters by choosing "Text Length" Functions include COUNT, COUNTIF, COUNTA See the help for each function. One of these should work for you.
