After querying a database and importing the results in an Excel 2007
worksheet, I am unable to use the subtotal command in the Outline Group of the Data tab. I could do this in Excel 2003, but after the upgrade I no longer can do this and at the same time keep the query connection to the database so I can refresh the data. How can I accomplish keeping my data live (connected to the external database via Microsoft Query) and at the same time insert subtotals using the sub total command in the Outline Group under the Data tab? |
