Default Coloring the row and column numbering bars in Excel 2003

I have a fairly large Excel work sheet, in which I have to traverse left and
right as well as up and down a number of times, from a selected cell. In
order to ensure that I return back to the same cell from which I started my
traversals always, I need to note down the row and column numbers of the
starting cell everytime, before starting my traversals, so that I can return
to the same cell without straying away. For this purpose, I would like to
note down the row and column nos., which task can be made easy if the row and
column number bars of the selected cell can be highlighted with a bright
color, enabling me to note down those numbers readily.
Is there any way by which this task can be performed in Excel 2003?
Thanks for everybody, who provide me an answer for this query.
