if function, how?
Hi,
Is there any possibility that Excel can recognize text and if it true, than calculate? For example: Let's say in cell A1 is written ABC-CBA, in cell B1 is written 100 in cell C1 is written 40 So I need that it from B1 minus C1 and if A1 is = ABC-CBA that the result from B1-C1 what is 60 in this example multiply by let's say 2, if A1 not equal to ABC-CBA that only from B1 minus C1 More details: B1-C1=60 and if A1=ABC-CBA than = 120 if A1 not equal to ABC-CBA only result from B1-C1 what is 60 Thank you for any ideas. |
