Default Filling in blank cells with cell above

I have a column and I would like to fill the cells below it with the same
data as above. Sometimes there are more than one blank row below the Policy
number.

Column A

line 4
line 5 BINDER8083096
line 6

line 8
line 9 BINDER8083096

Thanks

Default Filling in blank cells with cell above

Select the whole range of cells making up your data (A1:A11 in your example).
Press F5, then click Special Blanks OK. Now all the blank cells within
your
data are selected. Press the equal sign (=), then the up arrow. Hold down
the Ctrl key and press Enter. This puts a formula in every blank cell,
pulling the value from the cell above it. Finally, copy & paste the whole
selected range in place as values.

Hope this helps,

Hutch
