Can I sort five-digit and nine-digit zip codes together?

You would want to normalize the 5 digit zips to 9 digit. you can use formula
like so:

=if(len(A2)=5,A2&"-0000",A2) to give your 5 digit a -0000. Copy and paste
special, values. Then, you can do your sort off this new list
