Go to your destination worksheet, click in cell B20, type = then go to your
source worksheet and click in cell A24 so that the relevant sheetname & cell reference are added to the B20 formula after the = sign, then hit enter. It should show something like =sheet2!A24 in the formula bar for B20, and anything you enter in A24 in the source sheet will show in B20 in the destination sheet. -- David Biddulph akarmyguy wrote: Sorry I was typing a little fast. ok here is my situation. I have 4 worksheets and I am trying to type some text in cell A24 and have that same text automaticly typed into the other worksheet in cell B20 when I hit the enter key. I have already tried the typing "=" in it then clicking on the cell in the other worksheet and it hasnt worked. What I am trying to do with them is when I type same a name in one cell I want it to already fill itself into the other cell on the other worksheet. Unless you are wanting something else which you have not clearly described . . . In the "other" worksheet click on the "other" cell and type "=" (without quotes). Select the "one" worksheet and click on the "one" cell. Press return. Alan Lloyd |
