I'm a relative novice at the use of more complicated formulas.
I'm trying to do a formula that would recognize 1= days and 2 = nights, then insert the start time of either 06:00 for days or 18:00 for nights, depending entirely on the choice input by the user of the spreadsheet. Additionally, I would like the spreadsheet to autofill the balance with start/end times based on the required time for the task assigned. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Jay |

We'd need a bit more detail to help you with the 2nd bit, but the first part
can be done with IF functions; or, since you're using numbers, CHOOSE. Both of these are detailed in the XL help file. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "Jay" wrote: I'm a relative novice at the use of more complicated formulas.
