Default I would like to change numbers in a cell automatically

I need a formula to enter employee numbers in a cell automatically in order
to calculate values for them in another cell

Could you give more info? (layout, what your tables look like, pattern of
Employee ID#?)

With the limited knowledge, I would say take a look at using VLOOKUP to try
and pull the correct employee # info.
