Hi Lil,
I am just brain storming here, but I was thinking if you can reference a cell to other sheets/tabs. Maybe you can reference multiple cells to accomplish what I would like to do. I have created over 400 rows of data. I would to have lets say every 100 rows of that data put on 4 different tabs so it is spread out. wiithout having to copy and paste all of the work. There must be a way to do that like you mean. "Liliana" wrote: I would not say "cannot be done" about anything in Excel. It is amazing what some perople can achieve. My perception of your reqirements are currently very scant in detail - you want to copy data fifty rows at a time to other sheets; copy paste does not do what you wish. If you describe in more detail what you need and your general aim in doing this, perhaps your problem may be relatively easy to resolve? Perhaps a simple macro will automate a task for you? Perhaps there is an alternative solution? --Lil ?B?b2NlYW4=?= wrote in : Thank you. I get the feeling that what I want to do is not possible. It looks like my only option is to copy and paste, but I wanted to tell excel to put a certain range of data on each tab. For example, ask excel to put my 100 rows of data I have already entered onto one tab and so on. Thank you for your help. |
