This would be the general syntax:
=INDEX(Result_range,MATCH(1,(Lookup_range=Lookup_v alue)*(From_range=From_date)*(To_range<=To_date), 0)) This is an array formula. Array formulas need to be entered using the key combination of CTRL,SHIFT,ENTER (not just ENTER). Hold down both the CTRL key and the SHIFT key then hit ENTER. -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP wrote in message ... Hi, I am currently in the process of trying to return a value based on a data element being found with a specified date range. One element is the look up field and then the next two elements are the From and To dates and the result, being the fourth element, is to be returned based on combination between the Look Up field and the date range. Can you please advise what Functions would work with this requirement. |
