Rapidly Create a Large Number of Named Ranges
Excel 2007
I have a spreadsheet with columns for each day of the week. The spreadsheet is broken down into 5 sections. For each of the 7 columns I would like to create a range name for the total in each of the 5 sections, so that would be 35 range names in all. Is there a way to quickly create range names? For example, could I create a table containing the desired names for each range (which I could build with an formula) and the corresponding address ranges, and then somehow use that table to create all the range names? Thanks for any help that you can offer? --Tom |
