Cleaning a list in Excel
I need some help in deleting rows from a list by comparing two lists.
I have two worksheets and both contain the same type of info. Just First Name, Last Name, Date of birth and Phone#. List 1 has 5000 names and List 2 has 1300 names. I need to take away the names that are in List 2 from List 1. Any idea on how to do that? Example List 1 (Main): Joe Smith 1/1/1990 Kathy Globe 2/2/1990 List 2 (Takeaway) Kathy Globe 2/2/1989 Mike Lark 3/1/1981 I need to clean the List 1 by deleting Kathy from the list 1. |
