Default Excel Formula

I want to create/use a formula where if a value in column (K) is DEAD (term
used in a drop-down menu in the column) the value in the corresponding (I)
column is subtracted from a sum of the (I) column at the bottom of the Excel
sheet.

Default Excel Formula

What do you want to happen if the cell in K does not contain DEAD?

Which cell is your total of column I in?

Pete
