Default Need help with Line Chart...

Could somebody please tell me if it is possible, using Excel (Office 2007)
to make a very basic Line Chart, for example:
I have two columns, column one "DATE" contains a series of dates, column two
"WEIGHT" contains daily weights in Stones & Pounds or even just Pounds. This
would then be displayed on a line chart with Weights top to bottm on left
hand side& Dates along the bottom left to right
I hope this makes sense to somebody, many thanks for any replies given.

Select the range of data to be plotted (both columns)
Open the Inset tab on the Ribbon
In the Chart group, select Line and from the offered subtype click on the
first one
Tell us if you are successful.
best wishes

Default Need help with Line Chart...

Hi,

Suppose your Dates are in A1:A13 and the weights in B1:B13 with title on row
1. Select the data and press Alt+F1. This will create a pie chart for
example. Then choose Chart Tools, Design, Change Chart Type and pick any
Line chart type you want.

If you want the chart on its own page, follow the steps above but press F11.

If this helps, please click the Yes button.
