Default vlookup?

I need a formula that looks across b2:z2 for the number 1 and then
returns the text value of row 1 in the column that the number 1 is
found in.

Any suggestions on the formula?

Thanks.

Try this:

=INDEX(B1:Z1,1,MATCH(1,B2:Z2,0))

Hi,

And another alternative:

=OFFSET(A1,,MATCH(1,B2:Z2,))

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

Cheers,
