VLOOKUP
I am trying to understand how to use this function.
I entered my values in the "Function Arguments" box and at the bottom my "Formula Result" is correct. But when I click "OK" I see my formula appear in the cell, not my result. I must be missing one small step? |

VLOOKUP
Format the cell as General (or anything but Text).
Then select the cell and hit F2, then enter. Excel will see that you've entered a formula.
