I'm working on a spreadsheet that is used to collect data (in the [hh]:mm
format) and when I go to put the data rnage into a Histogram I get a message
stating the following:

Histogram - Input range contains non-numeric data.

Can someone help me with this? Do I need to conver the times to a decimal
format?

If the items are 'real times' then they are already numeric.
If one of the time values is in B2 what does the formula =ISNUMBER(B2)
return?
best wishes

Then you must replace all these values by real time values by retyping them.
If there are more than 20, send me a file and I will see if a formula is
possible

Yes, there are 137 values in two worksheets in the workbook. What is your
email address to send the file?
