I would like to copy a formula into a number of cells that are 9 rows apart
from each other and there are other formula on the rows between. I can filter on these rows but when i copy the formula it copies into the cells on the rows in between as well. |

I am unable to duplicate your problem. When I filter (using Autofilter) and
then copy a formula into cells, it does not affect the filtered cells. How are you copying the formulas? (autofill, copy, paste, multiple cell selection, single range selection) -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "Picman" wrote: I would like to copy a formula into a number of cells that are 9 rows apart from each other and there are other formula on the rows between. It must be Friday afternoon, my brain is already at home and i'm stuck in the
office. My problem was that i was using autofill instead of copy and paste. Sorry to waste your time. "Luke M" wrote: I am unable to duplicate your problem. Hi,
If you want to paste it to only certain rows, then after copying the single formula, select just the cells where you want to copy it and choose paste. Alternatively, place formulas on every 9th row with nothing in the rows between, and copy the whole range including blanks, select the target range and choose Edit, Paste Special, Skip blanks. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Picman" wrote: I would like to copy a formula into a number of cells that are 9 rows apart from each other and there are other formula on the rows between.
