Default SUMIF to sum multiple columns of data?

Help Please!
I am trying to use the SUMIF function to sum multiple columns of data.
example.
My Range is A1:A7, Criteria is "W", Sum_Range is B1:G7
The answer should be 31 but the formula won't return 31!

There are blank rows in the Range!

A B C D E F G
1 W 2 3 0 4 0 5
2
3 D 1 1 1 1 1 1
4
5 S 1 1 1 1 1 1
6 W 2 4 1 2 3 5
7 C 0 0 0 0 0 0
