Default capping percents

ok here it is:
Base Goal Target Actual Gain or
-Loss Point Quarterly
1.592% 0.09% 1.500% 0.092% 1.500% 100% 50 50 $294

lets say the "actual" exceeds the"goal" or put another way instead of 1.5 it
may be 1.2, then i want the "gain or -loss" to cap at a certain percentage,
like 200%. the way i have it calucated now is if it does exceed then
depending on the number it may go to 387%. Can someone help me?

Hi,

Seeing your formula would have helped but in general you use MIN to set a
maximum value like this

=min(your maximum value,your formula)
